A propos de la Bibliothèque des Boîtes à Outils à l’Intention des Communautés Locales

La première édition de la Bibliothèque des Boîtes à Outils à l’Intention des Communautés Locales a été développée en 2013 par Lien De Brouckere en collaboration avec Futuro Sostenible à Lima, au Pérou et Sustainable Development Strategies Group dans le Colorado, aux États-Unis, dans le cadre d’une initiative visant à élaborer un protocole et des conseils pour renforcer les connaissances communautaires et la prise de décisions concernant les activités minières et leurs incidences sur les terres, les moyens de subsistance et l’autodétermination des communautés locales. Cette initiative a été semée et encouragée par des rencontres du Dialogue sur l’Exploration, les Mines et les Minéraux au niveau Mondial (GEMM) de l’Initiative pour un Secteur Minier Responsable de l’Université Simon Fraser. En 2016, cette bibliothèque a été mise à jour et réorganisée par Lien De Brouckere avec l’aide de Maria Hajar (LL.M. Faculté de Droit de l’Université de Washington) et Megha Nkem (LL.M. Université de Johannesburg).

Comment utiliser la Bibliothèque des Boîtes à Outils

Pour les utilisateurs qui souhaitent parcourir le contenu de la bibliothèque, nous avons regroupé les boîtes à outils en cinq catégories. Vous pouvez cliquer à travers le menu d’accordéon pour les parcourir. Pour les utilisateurs qui cherchent des conseils sur un sujet particulier, nous avons une barre de recherche pour saisir des mots clés qui mettront en évidence les guides relatifs à ces mots-clés dans la bibliothèque (par exemple, « droits de l’homme », « expulsions » ou « redevabilité des entreprises »).
